Double Block & Bleed

When the valve is at closed position, and with equal or no pressure, both spring loaded seats can shut off the line pressure independently from both upstream and downstream sides. Thus blocking both sides and the body cavity can be bleed out by opening the drain plug. This creates a DBB Double Block & Bleed scenario.
